Newport Middle School extends a huge thank you to Sitka K–8 Create for inspiring our students through a hands-on Monotype Printmaking (with Gelli Plates) experience!
Drawing inspiration from Portland artist Anji Grainger, students explored the beauty of organic and geometric shapes, layering vibrant paints to craft their own unique abstract monotype prints.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing NMS educators: Chris Martin, Leeann Bennett, Genevieve Hardin, Kacey Baxter, and Quinn Hermon for leading, guiding, and creatively weaving this artistic journey into their classrooms.
